Fees

Introducing Mixed Billing in our Practice

It is with regret that we wish to inform you that we are introducing a new fee structure called Mixed Billing from the 5th of September 2022.

The introduction of mixed billing means we will have bulk billing for eligible patients (see below) and an out-of-pocket fee (gap fee) for those patients that are not eligible for bulk billing.

Bulk billing will continue for:

  • Children under 16 years,
  • Vaccinations – Influenza and Childhood Vaccination
  • Health Care Card and Pension Card holders and DVA Card holders
  • Appointments made for follow-up of medical investigation results

Please note that bulk billing is only available with the presentation of a valid Medicare and concession card as mentioned above; we cannot bulk bill if your card has expired.

Patients who do not fall into one of the above categories will be charged an out-of-pocket (gap fee) for consultations and procedures.
Payment is required on the day of consult by EFTPOS, credit card and cash only. NO accounts will be given.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
